Teacher Training at Piyamaharachalai High School, Nakonpanome Province, Thailand held: March 19 - 22, 2001 During March forty Thai high school teachers from Nakonpanome Province and five facilitators met for a four-day workshop integrating Education for Sustainability into the English as a Foreign Language classroom through Project Work. It was a fun time, with lots of singing, dancing, great food, and wonderful friendships. Certain themes ran concurrently throughout the training: * English as a Foreign Language (EFL) * Education for Sustainability (EfS) * Communicative competence * Action competence   Learning Goals Participants are be able to: * Integrate concepts of EfS into EFL classrooms * Plan, and carry out project work * Create professional materials for project work * Use computer Internet resources to assist in project work * Identify partnerships in the community to assists in project work * Develop English presentation skills   Many thanks to the facilitators who volunteered their time and airfare: Pam Crooks, Martin Darling, Catherine Harper, Graham Harper (from Kamakura Jogakuin High School) and Gina Rhodes
