Project Mukdahan by Projects International / ERIC Mukdahan Project Mukdahan is a community-based education initiative integrating Education for Sustainability (EfS) with English as a Foreign Language (EFL). This project takes advantage of several current aspects in education.
This year Project Mukdahan will include 25 students from three schools in Mukdahan Province (Mukdahan High School, Chulaporn High School and Nawamin High School). The project will link the students with Mukdahan Handcraft Centre. The students will design and market a locally made product for the global market place. The Handcraft Centre and local will help students with local knowledge / products. Goal: empower students to use English to promote sustainable development in their community. Project Outcomes: 1. Gain skills for working with the community. 2. Connect learning with the community. 3. Empower individual and cooperative actions for sustainability. 4. Link local situation with the national and global realities. 5. Link economic, environmental, and social systems. 6. Perceive, interpret, criticise and transform their world.
